361/DRX and Vodafone auction world’s first SMS as NFT

Vodafone auctions the world’s first SMS as NFT. Transmitted on the Vodafone network almost three decades ago. And received by Vodafone employee Richard Jarvis at a Christmas party on December 3, 1992. Its message has just 15 letters: “Merry Christmas.” Still 29 years later, Vodafone stands for technological pioneering spirit and sets a sign for innovation, digitalization and continuous technical progress with the auction of the historic SMS as NFT. In line with Christmas and the message “Merry Christmas”, Vodafone donates the proceeds of the auction for a good cause to the “UNHCR”, the United Nations Refugee Agency.

From the idea and creation to the final implementation, we were able to support Vodafone in a leading role in this exciting and innovative project.
